COG Soft Products was founded in 1977 by Oral and Christina Güvencel. The 3000 m2 production facility is located in Laholm on the Swedish west coast approximately 2 hours drive from Copenhagen and 2 hours drive from Gothemburg.
Today, the company is owned by Johan Kareby, CEO and investor Roger Johansson, Founder and President of Marmite/Musclemachine - Europe's leading producer of Cast Marble Products.
The manufacturing process was developed and refined for many years by Mr. Güerncel, and he is still active in the company within product development and education of new employees, hired to meet the needs for faster production pace and shorter deliverance time.
Although almost no marketing events the past years, COG has reached world recognition for its superior quality of coated foam products. This means, above all, balls in various shapes and sizes — with extremely tough skin.
Other companies send their products to COG for coating, and current sales territories include Sweden, Denmark, Norway, France, Belgium, Switzerland, Spain, Holland, Japan, Australia and USA.
